It is a balancing act, being close to the body, taking care of it and listening to its signals, without over-identifying with it. I think it is important to distinguish between being ill and having an unbalanced body or believing that just because your body has challenges right now, there is something wrong with you. The body is our tool to experience, express and create in this world. Thus, of course, extremely important. But you are not your body, you are the one who expresses himself through your body. And since the body is our vessel and our home here on earth, we need to get to know it and listen to what it is it is trying to communicate to us. What is your body trying to tell you?
In this context, I think it is important to remember that, just as you are not your body, so are you not your thoughts. You have them. And we do not always need the help of the mind to listen to the body. There is a wisdom, we can call that intuition, beyond the mind and body, who you are. If you listened to the body from that place, what information would you get then?

But emotions are energy. The energy is built up by thoughts, experiences or other triggers and wants to move through your system. Like a wave that comes and washes over and then flows on. If the built-up energy is blocked, out of fear, resistance or because it is simply inappropriate to express it in the moment, it gets stuck. As an emotional knot that over time creates tension and blockages in the body. Sooner or later, it will either explode or create major imbalances in the system (which can sometimes manifest as disease).
I was recently in such a place, when too many emotions, energies, have been fought against for too long. I felt it through a pressure over my chest that came and went. Crowded throat. A general feeling of heaviness. And above all, an overactive brain, which struggled to create control over things it could not control. Like the meaning of my life, or what will happen in the future.
I was helped, by life, to get to a place and a context where I could no longer resist and where it was safe to let go of the pressure. I simply lay down and let the emotional waves wash over and through me. Without thoughts, without stories, without an understanding of who was who and where they all came from. Without resistance, intuition can guide the body to let go, to healing at all levels. And afterwards, many waves later, everything feels different. Inexplicable and completely obvious.
As children, it is only natural for us to listen to and express the body’s needs, including all the emotions that need to move through. This is not something we need to learn, we just need to remember what we knew and practiced as children. Peel off the layers we put on to protect, to fit in, to live the way we think we should live. But underneath, all the programming that no longer serves you, there is a wisdom as obvious as the breath. Are you listening?

Let’s start with what we can do ourselves for the benefit of our hair! I have compiled a short list of good habits that we should follow and some points that we should avoid. Let’s start!
1. Don’t go out in the sun with wet hair – wet ones are much more susceptible to UV radiation, which can destroy and damage them. The worst for hair in this respect, unfortunately, is salt water, and bleached hair is the most vulnerable to damage. If you plan on sunbathing, a loose hat to cover your head or a towel around your hair is a good plan, as is a shower right after you come out of the water!
2. Avoid hot air from the dryer. It is better to dry your hair naturally (you can help it and dry it with a lukewarm breeze next to your head), or reach for warm, but not hot air. Otherwise they will dry out and may frizz.
3. Do not wear a hat on wet hair – this is especially true for tight, close-fitting caps, for example those with a visor. Damp hair is softer and more prone to damage (not to mention that a tight cap will just ?press off? on it and we will lose volume). As before, put on a loose hat or a handkerchief.
4. In summer, watch out for “hot” accessories – straightener, curling iron, dryer. High temperature can additionally dry out the hair and so it is exposed to water loss in the sun. Das 9-Euro-Ticket ist da! Mag man von dem Ansatz, die Bevölkerung genau so zu entlasten, halten, was man will. ? Als brave Bürger wollen wir es jetzt natürlich nutzen. Schließlich geht es auch darum, dass sich der öffentliche Nahverkehr als Alternative zum Auto präsentiert. Wir waren (zumindest vor Corona) leidenschaftliche Zugfahrende. Daher haben wir schon einiges ausprobiert. So können wir ein paar Tipps weitergeben für alle, die jetzt bahntaugliche Ausflugsziele in Niedersachsen suchen.
Ausflugsziele in Niedersachsen: Erreichbarkeit mit Bus und Bahn
In diesem Beitrag präsentiere ich Ausflugsziele in Niedersachsen, die sich auch gut mit dem Zug erreichen lassen. Alle Orte kenne ich aus eigener Erfahrung. Nicht in allen waren wir selbst mit dem Zug. Als Service für euch habe ich aber überall die jeweilige Entfernung zum Bahnhof recherchiert und geschaut, wie gut man hin und weiter kommt. So könnt ihr abschätzen, wie gut eine Anreise mit Bus und Bahn zum jeweiligen Ausflugsziel funktioniert.
Nach kurzem Überlegen habe ich es mir gespart, eine detaillierte Anfahrtsbeschreibung samt Buslinien etc. mitzuliefern. Google Maps zeigt das so schnell für einen ersten Überblick. Mit wenigen Klicks (in der Routenfunktion auf das Bus-Symbol) gibt es ein optisch ansprechendes und sofort umsetzbares Ergebnis. Für Schritt 2 hilft die App der Deutschen Bahn. (Bei Schritt 3 bei den Bussen ist dann allerdings wieder Google Maps hilfreicher, das kriegt die Bahn immer noch nicht hin, glaube ich. Das läuft in anderen Ländern übrigens besser.)

Familienzeit im Zug sieht zugegebenermaßen bei uns oft so aus. Es lassen sich aber auch prima tiefgründige Gespräche führen und Spiele spielen.

Bad Zwischenahn: Im Land der Parks und Gärten
In die kleine Stadt im Ammerland kommen Ausflügler gut mit der Bahn. Zehn Minuten Fußmarsch sind es bis zum Freilichtmuseum Ammerländer Bauernhaus direkt am Zwischenahner Meer. Das ist auch schon mitten im Stadtzentrum. Was es dort sonst noch zu tun gibt, habe ich hier aufgeschrieben: Kurztrip nach Bad Zwischenahn: Unser Familienprogramm.
Durch das Freilichtmuseum Bad Zwischenahn kann man einfach so durchspazieren.
Extratipp: In 17 Minuten geht es vom Bahnhof aus mit dem Bus in den Park der Gärten. Der ist nicht nur, aber auch für Familien ein hervorragendes Ausflugsziel. Warum, steht hier: Park der Gärten ? floraler Familienspaß in Bad Zwischenahn.

Borkum: Mit der Bahn (fast) auf die Insel
Die Nordseeinsel gehört nun zugegebenermaßen nicht zu den so richtig leicht erreichbaren Ausflugszielen in Niedersachsen. Aber wer ein paar Tage bleiben will, kommt prima mit dem Zug zur Insel! Wir haben das tatsächlich schon genau so gemacht. Zu Hause aufs Fahrrad, zum Bahnhof, dann mit dem Niedersachsenticket nach Emden. Dort samt Rädern auf die Fähre ? und schon im Urlaub! Funktioniert einwandfrei und komplett CO²-neutral. (Die Borkum-Fähre ist nämlich auch noch besonders umweltfreundlich.) Wie der Insel-Trip mit Kindern und Fahrrädern dann im Detail aussehen kann (und welche Unterkunft wir wärmstens empfehlen können), steht ausführlich hier im Blog: Was muss man auf Borkum gesehen haben?
Der Strand mit ?Milchbude? ist nur eine von vielen schönen Seiten der Insel.
Braunschweig: Kulturprogramm in Niedersachsens zweitgrößter Stadt
Auch Niedersachsens zweitgrößte Stadt ist einen Ausflug wert. Zwei Stationen mit der Straßenbahn vom Bahnhof in die Innenstadt auf Höhe Schloss ? allein das ist für Landeier wie uns ja schon ein Abenteuer! Im Stadtzentrum ist dann alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Tipps für jedes Wetter und jede Jahreszeit habe ich hier parat: Braunschweig im Winter ? mit Baby und großen Kindern und Braunschweig im Sommer ? mit Kleinkind und Teenager.

Bückeburg: Familienausflug aufs Land
Immer wieder gerne empfehle ich meine Geburtsstadt als Ausflugsziel. ? Nicht nur aus Lokalpatriotismus, sondern aus Überzeugung. Wir haben es so schön hier im Schaumburger Land! Mit einem traumhaft schönen Schloss, der Hofreitschule und dem interessant gemachten Hubschraubermuseum bietet Bückeburg interessante Anlaufstellen für Familien. Vom Bahnhof geht es nur eine kurze Strecke immer geradeaus bis zum Marktplatz (und weiter zum Schloss). Der Clou (für die Zeit nach dem 9-Euro-Ticket): Da Bückeburg fast genau auf der Landesgrenze liegt, gelten hier sowohl das Niedersachsenticket als auch das für Nordrhein-Westfalen. Das fürstliche Mausoläum in Bückeburg zählt zu den größten nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern in ganz Europa.
Extratipp: Die Outdoor-Escape-Tour ?Drachenprüfung? ist das ideale Familienprogramm, um die kleine Stadt auf eigene Faust zu entdecken.
Sind hier nicht irgendwo ?Drachenrunen? zu finden?? Die Drachenprüfung ist eine spannende Schnitzeljagd voller Rätsel für jedes Alter. Sie führt quer durch die bildschöne Kleinstadt und lenkt den Blick auch in verborgene Ecken.
Einbeck: Mehr als Bier!
Die wunderschönene Fachwerkstadt im Süden Niedersachsens ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Ausflugsziel. Wir haben hier einen herrlichen Tag verbracht. Bier und Blaudruck sind die stärksten Argumente für die reiferen Semester. Wer mit Kindern unterwegs ist, sollte einen Blick auf den Bericht von unserer Spielplatz-Safari werfen. In Einbeck bestehen ganze Straßenzüge aus intakten Fachwerkfassaden!
Die Anfahrt mit der Bahn funktioniert prima, aber auf Umwegen. Der Regionalexpress fährt nämlich nur bis ins eingemeindete Salzderhelden. (Das ist mit seiner Burgruine und den Leinepoldern übrigens selbst schon ein nettes Ausflugsziel. Hier habe ich auch darüber gebloggt: Salzderhelden ? Ausflugstipp zu Heldenburg und Leinepoldern.) Von dort geht es mit der Bimmelbahn in weniger als zehn Minuten ins historische Zentrum von Einbeck.
Ein Ausflug nach Salzderhelden und zur Heldenburg lohnt sich für Familien durchaus.
Goslar: Ausflug in den Harz
Rund zehn Minuten Fußmarsch sind es vom Bahnhof Goslar zum Rand der wunderschönen Altstadt. Noch einmal so lange braucht man bis zur Kaiserpfalz an ihrem gegenüberliegenden Ende. ? Zumindest bei einem strammen Marsch. Zu dem wird bei all der Fachwerkpracht, die unterwegs herumsteht, aber wohl niemand Lust haben. Goslar ist eine tolle Stadt für kleine Entdeckungen. Direkt vom Stadtgebiet lassen sich außerdem kleine Wanderungen direkt in die herrliche Natur des Harzes starten. Konkrete Vorschläge liefert mein aktueller Bericht: Goslar mit Kindern ? Die Kaiserpfalz in Goslar zählt zu den ältesten erhaltenen Bauten, die keine Kirche sind.
Extratipp: Das Besucherbergwerk Rammelsberg ist ein absolutes Abenteuer! Vom Bahnhof aus braucht es allerdings mindestens eine halbe Stunde Fußmarsch oder eine fast ebenso lange Busfahrt durch die Brust ins Auge. Göttingen: Ein Tag in der Universitätsstadt
Knapp zehn Minuten sind es zu Fuß bis in die Altstadt vom Bahnhof aus. Wer schneller sein und die Reichweite erhöhen will, mietet dort einfach Fahrräder (rechtzeitig vorbestellen!). Göttingen hat Familien einiges zu bieten?
Hann. Münden: Der Geburtsort der Weser
Wo am Zusammenfluss von Werra und Fulda die Weser entsteht, sollte man sich unbedingt einmal anschauen. 500 Meter immer geradeaus geht es vom Bahnhof ? dann stehen Besuchende schon in der wunderschönen Altstadt. Durch üppige Fachwerkpracht geht es einen weiteren Kilometer bis zum ?Weserkuss?. ? Absolut machbar für Familien. Auch hier lässt sich direkt vom Stadtgebiet aus loswandern. Was die traumhaft schön gelegene Stadt am südlichen Rand von Niedersachsen sonst noch zu bieten hat, berichte ich hier: Hann. Münden mit Kindern ? Städtetrip ins Weserbergland.
Bis zu diesem Aussichtspunkt hoch über dem ?Weserkuss? schaffen es Familien durchaus auch vom Bahnhof aus (mit etwas Wander-Ehrgeiz). Ansonsten ist es auch unten in der Altstadt wunderschön!
Hannover: Ausflug in die ?Hauptstadt?
Die Landeshauptstadt ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln perfekt zu bewältigen. Der Hauptbahnhof ist selbst schon fast die erste Sehenswürdigkeit. ?Unterm Schwanz? vorbei oder wahlweise durch die halb unterirdische Ladenstraße Passarelle geht es in wenigen Minuten ins Stadtzentrum. Am Kröpcke fahren Stadtbahnen erst unter-, später überirdisch im Minutentakt Ziele im gesamten Stadtgebiet an. Besonders schönes Ausflugsziel für Familien ist hier der Zoo. Auch schön: Die Herrenhäuser Gärten. Beides ist mit den Öffis bestens zu erreichen.
Die Bootsfahrt auf dem ?Sambesi? im Zoo Hannover ist ein ziemlich immersives Erlebnis.

Lingen: Ein Tag im Emsland
Der kurze Spaziergang vom Bahnhof in Lingens Innenstadt führt gleich erst einmal an einem tollen Spielplatz vorbei. Und am Pulverturm, einem der Wahrzeichen der sehenswerten Stadt im Emsland. Wer es schafft, durchzumarschieren, steht keine zehn Minuten später in der gemütlichen Fußgängerzone. Oldenburg: Bummel durch Deutschlands größte Fußgängerzone
Der Bahnhof ist etwa einen Kilometer außerhalb der Innenstadt gelegen. Dafür führt der Spaziergang am Hafen vorbei, wo im Sommer ein Stadtstrand eingerichtet wird. Wer sich die Puste lieber für Deutschlands größte zusammenhängende Fußgängerzone aufheben möchte, nimmt einfach den Bus. Oldenburg lässt sich auch ganz entspannt vom Wasser aus erkunden.
Verden: Entdeckungstour mit Magie
Keine zehn Minuten Fußweg sind es vom Bahnhof in die Altstadt. Ein Bummel durch die kleine Stadt am Rande der Südheide lohnt sich durchaus. Stärkstes Argument für einen Besuch ist für Familien allerdings der Magic Park Verden. Der sympathische kleine Vergnügungspark liegt am Ortsrand. Direkt am Bahnhof startet ein Bus, der eine Viertelstunde später dort ankommt. Auch zum erstaunlichen geologischen Phänomen der Verdener Wanderdüne fährt ein Bus. Absolute Empfehlung! Hier geht es ins Land der Magie?
Papenburg: Mal ganz was Anderes!
Immer am Hauptkanal lang geht es vom Bahnhof in die Altstadt. Schon nach wenigen Gehminuten wird es hübsch! Großes Manko: Der obligatorische Ausflug zur Meyer-Werft funktioniert mit dem ÖPNV so gar nicht. Wer unbedingt sehen möchte, wie Kreuzfahrtschiffe gebaut werden (interessant ist das schon), kann sich nach einem kurzen Stadtspaziergang an ?Meyers Mühle? Fahrräder leihen. Bis zum empfehlenswerten Freilichtmuseum der Von-Velen-Anlage fährt dagegen ein Bus, der nur knapp zehn Minuten braucht. Unser Erfahrungsbericht: Papenburg mit Kindern ? Städtetrip ins Emsland.
Der Hauptkanal durchzieht Papenburg der Länge nach. Hier liegen etliche Museumsschiffe vor Anker.
Stade: Ausflug ans (und aufs) Wasser
Wer aus Hamburg kommt, kann sogar mit der S-Bahn nach Stade fahren. Besuchende von weiter weg nehmen den Regionalexpress. Vom Bahnhof aus spazieren alle in fünf Minuten am Burggraben entlang bis zur Museumsinsel. (Also, die mit Kindern brauchen dafür natürlich oft länger. Ihr kennt das?) Das kleine und von außen frei zugängliche Freilichtmuseum ist jedenfalls gleich einer der schönsten Orte der Hansestadt (finde ich). Über die Brücke geht es dann mitten hinein in die Stader Altstadt. Besonders toll ist es dort am Fischmarkt an der Schwinge, wo sich Cafés und Restaurants aneinanderreihen. Wilhelmshaven: Ein Tag am Meer
In Wilhelmshaven liegt der Bahnhof mitten in der Innenstadt. Am Südstrand locken viele Attraktionen wie Museen und auch das Aquarium. Bis dahin ist es ein Spaziergang von etwa einer guten halben Stunde. Aus eigener Erfahrung empfehlen können wir Wilhelmshaven mit Fahrrädern. Dann ist sind auch das spannende Terminal des Containerhafens und der sehenswerte Störtebeker-Park problemlos in Reichweite. Wir kennen die Stadt am Jadebusen im Frühsommer mit großem Kind (und Baby im Bauch) und mit Teenagern und Kleinkind. Wolfenbüttel: Perfektes Ausflugsziel für Familien
Kurz vor Schluss habe ich noch einmal eine besonders herzliche Empfehlung. Die kleine Stadt im nordöstlichen Harzvorland ist eine absolute Fachwerk-Perle und mit etlichen familienfreundlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten gesegnet. Vom Fachwerk-Schloss bis zum Mitmach-Museum für Kinder wird so einiges geboten. Besonders cool fanden wir auch den Abenteuer-Spaziergang ?Schatten über Wolfenbüttel? per kostenloser App. Die Anfahrt mit dem Zug klappt wunderbar. Bei einem Wochenend-Trip haben wir das selbst ausprobiert. Knapp zehn Minuten sind es vom Bahnhof bis zum Schloss, ebenso weit ist es bis in die Altstadt. Wir lieben die Stadt so, dass es wieder gleich zwei Erfahrungsberichte gibt: Wolfenbüttel mit Kindern und dann noch einmal Wolfenbüttel im Sommer.

Wolfsburg mit Phaeno
Perfekt für einen Ausflug mit dem Zug geeignet ist Wolfsburg! Gleich vorm Hauptbahnhof wird es ? nicht nur ? für Familien interessant. Buchstäblich nebenan liegt nämlich das Phaeno. Das interaktive Museum für Natur und Technik ist ein absoluter Superlativ. Hier lässt sich leicht ein kompletter Tag verbringen. Ausflüge ? so wichtig!
Zum Schluss möchte ich noch einmal eine Lanze brechen. Von mancher Seite wird suggeriert, es sei nicht okay, das 9-Euro-Ticket für Vergnügungsfahrten zu nutzen. (Meine sehr geschätzte Reiseblogger-Kollegin Janett von Teilzeitreisender hat sich mit dieser Meinung zum Beispiel in die Brandung gestellt.)
Ich finde: Blödsinn! Gelegenheiten darf man nutzen. Und Ausflüge sind gerade für Familien mit Kindern so eine wichtige Angelegenheit!
Klar: Es gibt Wichtigeres. Krieg, steigende Lebenshaltungskosten, drohender Klimakollaps. ? Die Zeiten sind bitter. Umso wichtiger ist es, sich regelmäßig gezielt eine Auszeit zu nehmen und das Leben zu genießen. Wofür sonst machen wir das alles? Wenn wir bedröppelt auf dem Sofa sitzen bleiben, ist niemandem geholfen. Solange Infektionsstatus, Zeit und Kontostand es erlauben: nichts wie raus!
Der Weg ins Abenteuer beginnt am Bahnhof.
Gemeinsame Zeit verbringen, zusammen Neues zu erleben, schweißt Familien zusammen. Ich merke das jetzt, wo meine Jungs langsam groß sind. Die beiden haben inzwischen oft keine Lust mehr, mitzukommen. Umso dankbarer bin ich, dass wir in ihrer Kindheit gemeinsam so viel unterwegs waren. Dabei sind unzählige wertvolle Erinnerungen entstanden. In den gemütlichen Stunden ? die es ja zum Glück nach wie vor gibt ? in denen wir beisammen sitzen und uns unterhalten, geraten wir leicht von einem nostalgischen ?Weißt du noch?? ins nächste.
Und die betreffen fast immer Reisen und Ausflüge. Da ist natürlich zum einen unsere 11-monatige Europareise. (Meine Güte, was bin ich froh, dass wir die gemacht haben!!) Aber auch ganz simple Wanderungen in der direkten Nachbarschaft haben Erinnerungspotenzial. Immer gerne haben wir Kurztrips und Tagesausflüge in kleine und größere Städte in der weiteren Umgebung unternommen. Seit 2013 habe ich über die meisten davon gewissenhaft gebloggt. Deshalb habe ich einen riesengroßen Fundus, aus dem ich jetzt bequem mit der Bahn erreichbare Ausflugsziele in Niedersachsen empfehlen kann.
Ob nachher in den Zügen das absolute Chaos ausbricht? Das müssen wir natürlich abwarten? Erfahrungsgemäß wird wenig so heiß gegessen wie gekocht.

In diesem Beitrag präsentiere ich Ausflugsziele in Niedersachsen, die sich auch gut mit dem Zug erreichen lassen. Alle Orte kenne ich aus eigener Erfahrung. Nicht in allen waren wir selbst mit dem Zug. Als Service für euch habe ich aber überall die jeweilige Entfernung zum Bahnhof recherchiert und geschaut, wie gut man hin und weiter kommt. So könnt ihr abschätzen, wie gut eine Anreise mit Bus und Bahn zum jeweiligen Ausflugsziel funktioniert.
Nach kurzem Überlegen habe ich es mir gespart, eine detaillierte Anfahrtsbeschreibung samt Buslinien etc. mitzuliefern. Google Maps zeigt das so schnell für einen ersten Überblick. Mit wenigen Klicks (in der Routenfunktion auf das Bus-Symbol) gibt es ein optisch ansprechendes und sofort umsetzbares Ergebnis. Für Schritt 2 hilft die App der Deutschen Bahn. (Bei Schritt 3 bei den Bussen ist dann allerdings wieder Google Maps hilfreicher, das kriegt die Bahn immer noch nicht hin, glaube ich. Das läuft in anderen Ländern übrigens besser.)

Bad Zwischenahn: Im Land der Parks und Gärten
In die kleine Stadt im Ammerland kommen Ausflügler gut mit der Bahn. Zehn Minuten Fußmarsch sind es bis zum Freilichtmuseum Ammerländer Bauernhaus direkt am Zwischenahner Meer. Durch das Freilichtmuseum Bad Zwischenahn kann man einfach so durchspazieren.

Borkum: Mit der Bahn (fast) auf die Insel
Die Nordseeinsel gehört nun zugegebenermaßen nicht zu den so richtig leicht erreichbaren Ausflugszielen in Niedersachsen. Aber wer ein paar Tage bleiben will, kommt prima mit dem Zug zur Insel! Wir haben das tatsächlich schon genau so gemacht. Zu Hause aufs Fahrrad, zum Bahnhof, dann mit dem Niedersachsenticket nach Emden. Dort samt Rädern auf die Fähre ? und schon im Urlaub! Funktioniert einwandfrei und komplett CO²-neutral. (Die Borkum-Fähre ist nämlich auch noch besonders umweltfreundlich.) Der Strand mit ?Milchbude? ist nur eine von vielen schönen Seiten der Insel.
Braunschweig: Kulturprogramm in Niedersachsens zweitgrößter Stadt
Auch Niedersachsens zweitgrößte Stadt ist einen Ausflug wert. Zwei Stationen mit der Straßenbahn vom Bahnhof in die Innenstadt auf Höhe Schloss ? allein das ist für Landeier wie uns ja schon ein Abenteuer! Im Stadtzentrum ist dann alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Bückeburg: Familienausflug aufs Land
Immer wieder gerne empfehle ich meine Geburtsstadt als Ausflugsziel. ? Nicht nur aus Lokalpatriotismus, sondern aus Überzeugung. Wir haben es so schön hier im Schaumburger Land! Mit einem traumhaft schönen Schloss, der Hofreitschule und dem interessant gemachten Hubschraubermuseum bietet Bückeburg interessante Anlaufstellen für Familien. Vom Bahnhof geht es nur eine kurze Strecke immer geradeaus bis zum Marktplatz (und weiter zum Schloss). Der Clou (für die Zeit nach dem 9-Euro-Ticket): Da Bückeburg fast genau auf der Landesgrenze liegt, gelten hier sowohl das Niedersachsenticket als auch das für Nordrhein-Westfalen. Das fürstliche Mausoläum in Bückeburg zählt zu den größten nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern in ganz Europa.

Sind hier nicht irgendwo ?Drachenrunen? zu finden?? Die Drachenprüfung ist eine spannende Schnitzeljagd voller Rätsel für jedes Alter. Sie führt quer durch die bildschöne Kleinstadt und lenkt den Blick auch in verborgene Ecken.
Einbeck: Mehr als Bier!
Die wunderschönene Fachwerkstadt im Süden Niedersachsens ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Ausflugsziel. Wir haben hier einen herrlichen Tag verbracht. Bier und Blaudruck sind die stärksten Argumente für die reiferen Semester. Wer mit Kindern unterwegs ist, sollte einen Blick auf den Bericht von unserer Spielplatz-Safari werfen. In Einbeck bestehen ganze Straßenzüge aus intakten Fachwerkfassaden!
Die Anfahrt mit der Bahn funktioniert prima, aber auf Umwegen. Der Regionalexpress fährt nämlich nur bis ins eingemeindete Salzderhelden. (Das ist mit seiner Burgruine und den Leinepoldern übrigens selbst schon ein nettes Ausflugsziel. Hier habe ich auch darüber gebloggt: Salzderhelden ? Ausflugstipp zu Heldenburg und Leinepoldern.) Von dort geht es mit der Bimmelbahn in weniger als zehn Minuten ins historische Zentrum von Einbeck.
Ein Ausflug nach Salzderhelden und zur Heldenburg lohnt sich für Familien durchaus.
Goslar: Ausflug in den Harz
Rund zehn Minuten Fußmarsch sind es vom Bahnhof Goslar zum Rand der wunderschönen Altstadt. Noch einmal so lange braucht man bis zur Kaiserpfalz an ihrem gegenüberliegenden Ende. ? Zumindest bei einem strammen Marsch. Zu dem wird bei all der Fachwerkpracht, die unterwegs herumsteht, aber wohl niemand Lust haben. Goslar ist eine tolle Stadt für kleine Entdeckungen. Die Kaiserpfalz in Goslar zählt zu den ältesten erhaltenen Bauten, die keine Kirche sind.
Extratipp: Das Besucherbergwerk Rammelsberg ist ein absolutes Abenteuer! Vom Bahnhof aus braucht es allerdings mindestens eine halbe Stunde Fußmarsch oder eine fast ebenso lange Busfahrt durch die Brust ins Auge. Lingen: Ein Tag im Emsland
Der kurze Spaziergang vom Bahnhof in Lingens Innenstadt führt gleich erst einmal an einem tollen Spielplatz vorbei. Und am Pulverturm, einem der Wahrzeichen der sehenswerten Stadt im Emsland. Wer es schafft, durchzumarschieren, steht keine zehn Minuten später in der gemütlichen Fußgängerzone. Was es mit unserem merkwürdigen Gefährt auf sich hat, mit dem wir vorm Lingener Rathaus vorfahren, steht im oben verlinkten Blogbericht.
Oldenburg: Bummel durch Deutschlands größte Fußgängerzone
Der Bahnhof ist etwa einen Kilometer außerhalb der Innenstadt gelegen. Dafür führt der Spaziergang am Hafen vorbei, wo im Sommer ein Stadtstrand eingerichtet wird. Wer sich die Puste lieber für Deutschlands größte zusammenhängende Fußgängerzone aufheben möchte, nimmt einfach den Bus. Warum sich ein Ausflug nach Oldenburg lohnt, habe ich hier aufgeschrieben: Oldenburg mit Kindern ? Städtetrip mit Kleinkind und Teenagern.
Oldenburg lässt sich auch ganz entspannt vom Wasser aus erkunden.
Verden: Entdeckungstour mit Magie
Keine zehn Minuten Fußweg sind es vom Bahnhof in die Altstadt. Ein Bummel durch die kleine Stadt am Rande der Südheide lohnt sich durchaus. Stärkstes Argument für einen Besuch ist für Familien allerdings der Magic Park Verden. Der sympathische kleine Vergnügungspark liegt am Ortsrand. Direkt am Bahnhof startet ein Bus, der eine Viertelstunde später dort ankommt. Auch zum erstaunlichen geologischen Phänomen der Verdener Wanderdüne fährt ein Bus. Absolute Empfehlung! Hier geht es ins Land der Magie?
Papenburg: Mal ganz was Anderes!
Immer am Hauptkanal lang geht es vom Bahnhof in die Altstadt. Schon nach wenigen Gehminuten wird es hübsch! Großes Manko: Der obligatorische Ausflug zur Meyer-Werft funktioniert mit dem ÖPNV so gar nicht. Wer unbedingt sehen möchte, wie Kreuzfahrtschiffe gebaut werden (interessant ist das schon), kann sich nach einem kurzen Stadtspaziergang an ?Meyers Mühle? Fahrräder leihen. Bis zum empfehlenswerten Freilichtmuseum der Von-Velen-Anlage fährt dagegen ein Bus, der nur knapp zehn Minuten braucht. Unser Erfahrungsbericht: Papenburg mit Kindern ? Städtetrip ins Emsland.
Der Hauptkanal durchzieht Papenburg der Länge nach. Hier liegen etliche Museumsschiffe vor Anker.
Stade: Ausflug ans (und aufs) Wasser
Wer aus Hamburg kommt, kann sogar mit der S-Bahn nach Stade fahren. Besuchende von weiter weg nehmen den Regionalexpress. Vom Bahnhof aus spazieren alle in fünf Minuten am Burggraben entlang bis zur Museumsinsel. (Also, die mit Kindern brauchen dafür natürlich oft länger. Ihr kennt das?) Das kleine und von außen frei zugängliche Freilichtmuseum ist jedenfalls gleich einer der schönsten Orte der Hansestadt (finde ich). Über die Brücke geht es dann mitten hinein in die Stader Altstadt. Besonders toll ist es dort am Fischmarkt an der Schwinge, wo sich Cafés und Restaurants aneinanderreihen. Wilhelmshaven: Ein Tag am Meer
In Wilhelmshaven liegt der Bahnhof mitten in der Innenstadt. Am Südstrand locken viele Attraktionen wie Museen und auch das Aquarium. Bis dahin ist es ein Spaziergang von etwa einer guten halben Stunde. Aus eigener Erfahrung empfehlen können wir Wilhelmshaven mit Fahrrädern. Dann ist sind auch das spannende Terminal des Containerhafens und der sehenswerte Störtebeker-Park problemlos in Reichweite. Wir kennen die Stadt am Jadebusen im Frühsommer mit großem Kind (und Baby im Bauch) und mit Teenagern und Kleinkind. Wolfenbüttel: Perfektes Ausflugsziel für Familien
Kurz vor Schluss habe ich noch einmal eine besonders herzliche Empfehlung. Die kleine Stadt im nordöstlichen Harzvorland ist eine absolute Fachwerk-Perle und mit etlichen familienfreundlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten gesegnet. Vom Fachwerk-Schloss bis zum Mitmach-Museum für Kinder wird so einiges geboten. Besonders cool fanden wir auch den Abenteuer-Spaziergang ?Schatten über Wolfenbüttel? per kostenloser App. Die Anfahrt mit dem Zug klappt wunderbar. Bei einem Wochenend-Trip haben wir das selbst ausprobiert. Knapp zehn Minuten sind es vom Bahnhof bis zum Schloss, ebenso weit ist es bis in die Altstadt. Wir lieben die Stadt so, dass es wieder gleich zwei Erfahrungsberichte gibt: Wolfenbüttel mit Kindern und dann noch einmal Wolfenbüttel im Sommer.

Wolfsburg mit Phaeno
Perfekt für einen Ausflug mit dem Zug geeignet ist Wolfsburg! Gleich vorm Hauptbahnhof wird es ? nicht nur ? für Familien interessant. Buchstäblich nebenan liegt nämlich das Phaeno. Das interaktive Museum für Natur und Technik ist ein absoluter Superlativ. Hier lässt sich leicht ein kompletter Tag verbringen. Ausflüge ? so wichtig!
Zum Schluss möchte ich noch einmal eine Lanze brechen. Von mancher Seite wird suggeriert, es sei nicht okay, das 9-Euro-Ticket für Vergnügungsfahrten zu nutzen. (Meine sehr geschätzte Reiseblogger-Kollegin Janett von Teilzeitreisender hat sich mit dieser Meinung zum Beispiel in die Brandung gestellt.)
Ich finde: Blödsinn! Gelegenheiten darf man nutzen. Und Ausflüge sind gerade für Familien mit Kindern so eine wichtige Angelegenheit!
Klar: Es gibt Wichtigeres. Krieg, steigende Lebenshaltungskosten, drohender Klimakollaps. ? Die Zeiten sind bitter. Umso wichtiger ist es, sich regelmäßig gezielt eine Auszeit zu nehmen und das Leben zu genießen. Wofür sonst machen wir das alles? Wenn wir bedröppelt auf dem Sofa sitzen bleiben, ist niemandem geholfen. Solange Infektionsstatus, Zeit und Kontostand es erlauben: nichts wie raus!
Der Weg ins Abenteuer beginnt am Bahnhof.
Gemeinsame Zeit verbringen, zusammen Neues zu erleben, schweißt Familien zusammen. Ich merke das jetzt, wo meine Jungs langsam groß sind. Die beiden haben inzwischen oft keine Lust mehr, mitzukommen. Umso dankbarer bin ich, dass wir in ihrer Kindheit gemeinsam so viel unterwegs waren. Dabei sind unzählige wertvolle Erinnerungen entstanden. In den gemütlichen Stunden ? die es ja zum Glück nach wie vor gibt ? in denen wir beisammen sitzen und uns unterhalten, geraten wir leicht von einem nostalgischen ?Weißt du noch?? ins nächste.
Und die betreffen fast immer Reisen und Ausflüge. Da ist natürlich zum einen unsere 11-monatige Europareise. (Meine Güte, was bin ich froh, dass wir die gemacht haben!!) Aber auch ganz simple Wanderungen in der direkten Nachbarschaft haben Erinnerungspotenzial. Immer gerne haben wir Kurztrips und Tagesausflüge in kleine und größere Städte in der weiteren Umgebung unternommen. Seit 2013 habe ich über die meisten davon gewissenhaft gebloggt. Deshalb habe ich einen riesengroßen Fundus, aus dem ich jetzt bequem mit der Bahn erreichbare Ausflugsziele in Niedersachsen empfehlen kann.
Ob nachher in den Zügen das absolute Chaos ausbricht? Das müssen wir natürlich abwarten? Erfahrungsgemäß wird wenig so heiß gegessen wie gekocht.
Verden, unweit der nächsten Bushaltestelle: Eine Mini-Wüste mitten im Wald ? beeindruckt selbst Teenager nach einem langen Tag.

Vale 116,4 miliardi di euro l?attuale patrimonio alberghiero complessivo in Italia. Appena l?1,5% in meno rispetto al periodo pre-pandemico. Un risultato per certi versi sorprendente, viste le difficoltà a cui il comparto è andato incontro nei due anni più difficili della storia del turismo. Basti pensare che, secondo le rilevazioni Federalberghi, ben 180 hotel della città di Roma sono ancora chiusi sui circa 1.200 totali attivi prima dell?arrivo del Covid. Eppure è quanto emerge dall?ultimo rapporto sul Patrimonio immobiliare alberghiero, realizzato dal dipartimento di ricerca di World Capital Group (Wcg) e Pkf Hotelexperts hospitality group, in collaborazione con Nomisma, Rics, Associazione italiana Confindustria alberghi e Federalberghi Roma.
Soffermandoci sulle stime del patrimonio alberghiero suddiviso per ogni cluster, dal rapporto emerge che il segmento città registra un valore pari a 36 miliardi di euro, in piena stabilità rispetto al periodo pre pandemia. Per quanto riguarda la top 10 delle città è Roma, con un patrimonio immobiliare di circa 12,8 miliardi, a posizionarsi al primo posto. Segue Milano con circa 7 miliardi, Venezia (ca. 6 miliardi) e Firenze (ca. 3,4 miliardi). Spostandoci sul cluster mare, questi ha complessivamente un valore pari a 17,7 miliardi di euro, in lieve diminuzione rispetto al 2020 (-5,3%). Infine, focalizzandoci sul cluster montagna, il segmento registra un valore totale pari a 3 miliardi, in forte diminuzione rispetto al periodo pre-pandemico (-19%: si tratta del comparto che più ha sofferto le chiusure imposte dalle disposizioni normative, prevalentemente concentrate nei periodi in cui tale prodotto ricettivo sarebbe stato maggiormente richiesto). La quota maggiore di patrimonio risiede quindi al Nord, che ne detiene il 54,5%, seguito dal Centro (25,8%) e poi dal Sud e dalle isole (19,6%).
Per quanto riguarda le nuove aperture, l?interesse nel comparto alberghiero italiano resta molto alto. La strategia adottata da molti investitori è quella di approfittare di questo periodo di transizione per ristrutturare e rinnovare le strutture esistenti e creare nuovi prodotti. Al momento sono in corso 819 attività di ristrutturazione e nuova costruzione, di cui il 65% sarà ultimato entro la fine del 2022. Di queste attività il 71% è costituita da attività di nuova costruzione. Tra le nuove aperture previste per l?anno prossimo, è interessante citare il Bulgari Hotel Roma, che sorgerà nel cuore del rione Campo Marzio, a pochi minuti dalla scalinata di Trinità dei Monti. La struttura occuperà un palazzo modernista degli anni ?30, affacciato sull?Ara Pacis e il mausoleo di Augusto. L?hotel ospiterà oltre 100 camere, in maggioranza suite, insieme al prestigioso il Ristorante ? Niko Romito e al Bulgari Bar.
Nel Rapporto viene infine dato spazio alla tematica dell?Esg (Environmental social governance): tendenza di grande spicco nel comparto hospitality. In termini di efficientamento energetico, il settore alberghiero presenta molte possibilità di crescita, anche perché circa il 35% degli operatori alberghieri e il 33% degli operatori extra-alberghieri intervistati non ha mai migliorato la propria classe energetica o effettuato interventi atti a ridurre lo spreco energetico

Vale 116,4 miliardi di euro l?attuale patrimonio alberghiero complessivo in Italia. Appena l?1,5% in meno rispetto al periodo pre-pandemico. Un risultato per certi versi sorprendente, viste le difficoltà a cui il comparto è andato incontro nei due anni più difficili della storia del turismo. Basti pensare che, secondo le rilevazioni Federalberghi, ben 180 hotel della città di Roma sono ancora chiusi sui circa 1.200 totali attivi prima dell?arrivo del Covid. Eppure è quanto emerge dall?ultimo rapporto sul Patrimonio immobiliare alberghiero, realizzato dal dipartimento di ricerca di World Capital Group (Wcg) e Pkf Hotelexperts hospitality group, in collaborazione con Nomisma, Rics, Associazione italiana Confindustria alberghi e Federalberghi Roma.
Soffermandoci sulle stime del patrimonio alberghiero suddiviso per ogni cluster, dal rapporto emerge che il segmento città registra un valore pari a 36 miliardi di euro, in piena stabilità rispetto al periodo pre pandemia. Per quanto riguarda la top 10 delle città è Roma, con un patrimonio immobiliare di circa 12,8 miliardi, a posizionarsi al primo posto. Segue Milano con circa 7 miliardi, Venezia (ca. 6 miliardi) e Firenze (ca. 3,4 miliardi). Spostandoci sul cluster mare, questi ha complessivamente un valore pari a 17,7 miliardi di euro, in lieve diminuzione rispetto al 2020 (-5,3%). Infine, focalizzandoci sul cluster montagna, il segmento registra un valore totale pari a 3 miliardi, in forte diminuzione rispetto al periodo pre-pandemico (-19%: si tratta del comparto che più ha sofferto le chiusure imposte dalle disposizioni normative, prevalentemente concentrate nei periodi in cui tale prodotto ricettivo sarebbe stato maggiormente richiesto). La quota maggiore di patrimonio risiede quindi al Nord, che ne detiene il 54,5%, seguito dal Centro (25,8%) e poi dal Sud e dalle isole (19,6%).
Per quanto riguarda le nuove aperture, l?interesse nel comparto alberghiero italiano resta molto alto. La strategia adottata da molti investitori è quella di approfittare di questo periodo di transizione per ristrutturare e rinnovare le strutture esistenti e creare nuovi prodotti. Al momento sono in corso 819 attività di ristrutturazione e nuova costruzione, di cui il 65% sarà ultimato entro la fine del 2022. Di queste attività il 71% è costituita da attività di nuova costruzione. Tra le nuove aperture previste per l?anno prossimo, è interessante citare il Bulgari Hotel Roma, che sorgerà nel cuore del rione Campo Marzio, a pochi minuti dalla scalinata di Trinità dei Monti. La struttura occuperà un palazzo modernista degli anni ?30, affacciato sull?Ara Pacis e il mausoleo di Augusto. L?hotel ospiterà oltre 100 camere, in maggioranza suite, insieme al prestigioso il Ristorante ? Niko Romito e al Bulgari Bar.
Nel Rapporto viene infine dato spazio alla tematica dell?Esg (Environmental social governance): tendenza di grande spicco nel comparto hospitality. In termini di efficientamento energetico, il settore alberghiero presenta molte possibilità di crescita, anche perché circa il 35% degli operatori alberghieri e il 33% degli operatori extra-alberghieri intervistati non ha mai migliorato la propria classe energetica o effettuato interventi atti a ridurre lo spreco energetico
