Custom LightScribe Features
We've gone to great lengths to make our LightScribe implementation the best possible, and we've added features that you won't find together in any other LightScribe software:
- Real-Time Preview: You don't have to bring up a print-preview dialog to see how your design will look on a LightScribe disc, because Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker converts your design to LightScribe disc colors as you work - you get to instantly see your design as it'll appear on a standard gold disc or with any of the other LightScribe disc colors.
- Print to multiple LightScribe drives at once: If you've got more than one LightScribe drive, you can turn your computer into your own virtual disc duplicator. Print multiple copies of a disc label at once, or print different labels on each of your drives simultaneously. Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker can use as many LightScribe drives as you've got.
- Lots of design choices: Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker comes with more than a thousand backgrounds, including hundreds of backgrounds and designs created explicitly for LightScribe users. If you'd rather import your own pictures and create your own designs, that's easy, too - Acoustica includes sophisticated text tools and makes it easy to find images on your computer's hard drives.
- Efficient printing options for people in a hurry: If you need to print and go, just skip the background art and click on the "LightScribe Title Mode" design, which prints a disc with just a circular title, or the "LightScribe Full Mode" design, which prints a disc with a circular title and a spiral track listing. Because LightScribe prints in concentric circles and can skip printing altogether in circular bands that don't have any data on them, designs that concentrate the disc's data in circular bands will print the fastest. Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker also lets you choose from three speed/quality options at print time, so you can choose whether you want the fastest print time or the highest contrast.
